In Osage Beach, School of the Osage Theatre Director Carly Klinginsmith and her troop will be showcasing their work on the telling of Little Women.
Honoring the 150th anniversary of the novel’s release, this story tells the tale of four daughters and a mother coping and guiding one another while their father is away in the war. Through challenges and squabbles between each member, the show displays the friendship between the family.
With leading roles by students Maddie Yoder, Annie Bridgeman, Aiyana Massie, Lauren Bayles, and Faith Edwards, Klinginsmith says that audiences will be amazed by the talent level put forth by the entire cast. This performance is a musical rendition of the tale and will feature a pit to play live.
Little Women will play Nov. 15-17, Thursday night through Saturday night. The show begins at 7 p.m. with tickets priced at $5 for adults and $3 for students.
