Nathaniel and Emily Buttram of Arlington, Virginia, wed Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman, Ohio.
Emily is the daughter of Patrick and Peggy Alcorn of Poland, Ohio, and granddaughter of Mary Jane Weber of Boardman, Ohio. Nathaniel is the son of Richard and Christine Buttram of Osage Beach, Missouri, and grandson of Loyd (deceased) and Vera Birk of Jackson, Missouri, Nancy Campbell of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Robert Buttram (deceased).
Bridal attendants included Jayne DiMascio, sister of the bride; Anne Alcorn, sister of the bride; Taylor Dozier, Lauren Emrich and Rachel Buttram, sister of the groom. Cory Brune, Tyler Beauchamp, Alex Nicholson, Josh Warren and Joe Alcorn, brother of the bride. A beautiful reception was held at the Vineyards of Pine Lake, and the couple honeymooned in Jamaica. Emily is a 2009 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Youngstown State in Ohio and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Nate is a 2010 graduate of Camdenton High School. He earned a Bachelor of Music with emphasis in Vocal Performance from Truman State University and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Emily is employed by the Cathedral Choral Society and the Basilica of Saint Mary in Alexandria, Virginia. Nate is employed by the Washington National Cathedral, the Basilica of Saint Mary and a self-employed vocal teacher. Both perform throughout the Washington D.C. area.
