The 2011 Ford F-150 was unoccupied when it went into the lake near the 8.5 mile marker — by land, off of Outer Drive in the Horseshoe Bend area of Lake Ozark. No one was injured.

A truck rolled into the Lake of the Ozarks Monday not necessarily from snowy conditions but because the vehicle wasn’t placed in park. The incident was caught on video and posted to social media.

The Missouri Highway Patrol confirmed the accident was reported at 5:02 p.m. Nov. 12, 2018. The 2011 Ford F-150 was unoccupied when it went into the lake near the 8.5 mile marker — by land, off of Outer Drive in the Horseshoe Bend area of Lake Ozark. No one was injured.

The vehicle wasn’t placed in park and it rolled into the water. A report was completed and the owner will be contacting a dive/salvage company to retrieve it.
