Mariah Danielle Walter, 20, of Camdenton, Missouri, died Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Lake Regional Health in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Mariah was born April 23, 1998, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Charles "Danny" Walter and Nicole Zabel Walter. 

Mariah attended Dogwood Hills State School and Missouri Mentors in Missouri.  She was an avid sports fan, and loved attending her sibling's different events.  Mariah enjoyed hot sunny days, especially on the lake. She loved being around people and loud music.  Mariah had a special bond with the family pets as they all would climb up and lay with her any chance they could.  Mariah loved to be snuggled and had a loving smile and infectious laugh that touched the people around her.

Mariah is survived by her parents: Ron and Nicole Duggan, Camdenton, Missouri, and Danny Walter and Rena Bailey, Macks Creek, Missouri; her siblings, Colton Walter and Brooklyn Duggan, both of her home, Michael and Sarah Duggan, Kansas City, Missouri, and Mark and Sarah Duggan, Nashville, Tennessee; her nieces, Libby and Sally Duggan, Nashville; grandparents; Roxie and Jim Zoeller, Westmoreland, Allan Zabel, Wheaton, and Gerald and Linda Walter, Macks Creek, formerly of St. George; her great-grand mothers; Naomi Area, Westmoreland, Dorothy Zabel, Wheaton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Campanella-Evans Mortuary in Wamego, Kansas.  The family will greet friends beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Westmoreland City Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mariah Walter Memorial Fund to be used for student scholarships, and those may be sent in care of the mortuary.  Online condolences may be made at

A Celebration of Mariah's life will also be held on November 3, 2018, from 3-5 p.m., at Captain Ron's in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
