An Eldon man has been charged with three counts of first degree statutory sodomy after an investigation by the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to an address outside of Eldon for a report of sexual abuse of a child on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2018. The report involved a child less than 12 years old who had allegedly been abused by Justin Bukowsky.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office released Oct. 26, deputies were able to locate the 27-year-old man later that evening. In custody, Bukowsky reportedly admitted to detectives that he had sexually abused the victim on multiple occasions. The three charges on Missouri indicate a May 2017 timeframe.

Bukowsky is currently being held at the Miller County Jail on a $300,000 bond.

The Miller County Children’s Division and Kids Harbor assisted in this investigation.
