Brumley Cave & Pumpkin Patch
The Cave Pumpkin Patch, located at 123 Swinging Bridges Road in Brumley, is open. More than 30 family activities are held. Admission is $6 per person, and free for ages 2 and under. Cash only. Open Saturdays and Sundays in October from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The MECCA Family Farm u-pick pumpkin patch is open on weekends in October from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $7 per person. A big slide, petting zoo, corn crib, crop maze, hay mountain and other activities can be found. The patch is located on west Hwy. 54, outside of Camdenton near Davis Baskets.
Shoot live zombies at Fort 54 Paintball in Osage Beach. The Zombie Massacre will be open October 27, 28 and 31 from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. Cost is $20 per person. There is also a haunted maze for all ages open for $5.
The Thunder Mountain Park Fall Festival will be held on weekends in October from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sarsaparilla making, bean bat toss, duck races, pumpkin chunkin range, games, fire pits and other games will be held all day. Each child will receive a pumpkin to paint. The festival is included in paid admission to the Bridal Cave tour.
Four attractions will open up this season at Splatz Paintball off of Hwy. 7 in Camdenton. The Zombie Wasteland Hunted House and Big Top of Terror Haunted House, along with the Zombie Survival paintball and virtual reality haunted house ride makes this the perfect destination to feed your fear.
A SpookTacular Trick or Treat event will be held October 31 from 7-10 p.m. Free fun for the whole family with a kid-friendly haunted house, candy, games and prizes.
The haunted house will be open every Friday and Saturday in October from 7 p.m.-midnight.
The Lodge of Four Season is hosting Haunted Hayrides on October 27 from 7-10 p.m. Cost is $5 per rider. Each hayride is about 25 minutes. It is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended.
The 14th annual Hy-Vee Hollow Trick or Treat Event will be held October 25 from 4-7 p.m. Businesses are invited to set up booths and hand out candy and promotional items to the kids and families attending. Participation requires a $100 donation to reserve a booth and providing enough treats to hand out to 2,000 or more kids.
A maze will be set up in Hy-Vee’s parking lot for kids to participate in a fun, safe environment. Cost is $2 to enter per child.
The event benefits the Dream Factory & Wonderland Camp. The Dream Factory is an organization making dreams come true for critically and chronically ill children. Wonderland Camp provides summer and respite weekends for campers who have physical and developmental disabilities.

Haunted Cave Tours
Stark Caverns is hosting a haunted cave tour on October 27 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Held one-day only participants will take a 30-minute haunted tour followed by other entertaining activities including gemstone and fossil mining, pumpkin painting and s’mores by the campfire. Hot chocolate and free candy for costumed visitors will be handed out. The tour is $10 for ages 5 and up with additional activities purchased separately, or $20 for ages 5 and up with activities.
Trick-or-Treat on the Strip
Trick or treating on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark will be from 2-4 p.m. October 27. Games and a cookie walk at Luby’s Plaza will also be held during that time. Drop off decorated pumpkins between 2-4 p.m. for them to be judged. A consume contest is at 4 p.m. followed by a pie eating contest. Teen Night at the Lake Ozark Live stage will be from 7-10 p.m.
Trunk or Treat
The City of Linn Creek will have a Trunk or Treat event in front of City Hall October 27 from 5-7 p.m. City Hall will be converted into a kid-friendly haunted house.
Trunk or Treat
The Eldon Elementary PTO will host a Trunk or Treat event at the Upper Elementary on October 27 from 6-8 p.m. Free fun for the family. The event is held behind the Storm Safety Building between the South and Upper Elementary Schools.
On October 27, the Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach will host a pet costume contest, pet activities and games for kids. Lunch will be available for purchase. Bring the whole family, including your four-legged friends. The event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Adult Costume Contest
H. Toad’s Bar & Grill at Camden on the Lake will be having a Halloween party October 27 and costume contest from 8 p.m.-1 p.m. No cover charge. Prizes and drink specials will be offered throughout the evening with entertainment from DJ Lou Diesel.
Businesses will be handing out goodies at Captain Ron’s October 28 during the annual Kid’s Halloween Spooktacular held from 5-7 p.m. Get dressed up and head out for candy and fun.
Trunk or Treat
Ozark Chapel is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot on Main Street/Highway 5 in Laurie. From 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 kids can line up for treats at decorated vehicles.
Trunk or Treat at the ‘Barn’
A trunk or treat will be held at the Morgan County Fairgrounds Livestock Barn in Versailles from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 27. This event is for children 12 and under.
