At 2:07 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 20, a car accident occurred on McCasland Road less than a mile west of Route J.
An early Thursday morning wreck results in serious injuries for the driver and moderate injuries for the passenger.
At 2:07 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 20, a car accident occurred on McCasland Road less than a mile west of Route J. The vehicle Johnathon Roach, 22, of Versailles, was driving travelled off the left side of the road. The vehicle struck the guard rail on a bridge and rolled off into a creek.
The passenger, Kody Frehse, 21, of Camdenton, had moderate injuries. Roach had serious injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
The driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts.
Roach was transported by staff for life to the University Hospital in Columbia. Frehse was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional.
Trooper S.D. Sears investigated this incident. Cpl. M.T. Halford and Morgan County Sheriff’s Department assisted in this incident.
