A California, Missouri woman has been arrested and charged in Morgan County for drug trafficking after allegedly being found with 103 grams of methamphetamine.
Morgan County deputies conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 50, east of Highway 5 North, around 1:15 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. During a consent search of the vehicle during the traffic stop, 58-year-old Jane Suggs was arrested after deputies located approximately 103 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and associated drug paraphernalia.
Suggs has been charged with first degree drug trafficking, a Class A felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. She is currently being held in the Morgan County jail in lieu of a $300,000 bond.
