Leslie Blasing will make a repeat performance on August 8 with two concerts to raise money for the Jesters of Goodwill, helping youth living in poverty in the Lake area.

Blasing is a major entertainer in the Rio Grande Valley and on South Padre Island, Texas. Last year she performed to a sold-out crowd. The event raised $5,200 for the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club whose goal is to help underprivileged youth in the Lake area.

Two concerts will be held on August 8 at The Exchange in Camdenton from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Doors open an hour before each performance. Admission is $10 per person. BYOB and snacks as no food will be sold.

Blasing sings it all — from country and rock and roll to Broadway and movie scores.

Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club is a 501(c)3 charity and are the “Jesters of Goodwill” helping youth in-need in the Lake area. Since beginning in 2014, they have spent over $179,000 on children in the community

Leslie Blasing has been singing as a full-time professional singer for over 30 years.

She was transferred to South Padre Island, Texas from San Antonio in 1994 while working for The Posada Group Inc. She lived at the Sheraton Beach Resort full time while singing  Tuesdays through Saturdays. 

In 2002 Blasing went to work for the Henry Family at The Shrimp Haus Restaurant located within their family-owned resort, Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark. She continued to work for Schlitterbahn five nights per week for 10 years.

She can now be found singing regularly at the Island's most popular hotspots for entertainment all year round: Louie's Backyard, Boomerang Billy's Beach Bar & Grill, Palm Street Pier Restaurant, The Coral Reef and Isla Grand Beach Resort, to name a few.

During the "Winter Texan Season,”Blasing performs all over the Rio Grande Valley at many, many RV Resorts for dances and shows.
