A Hudson, Illinois man was injured and arrested when the boat he was operating struck a dock Thursday morning on Lake of the Ozarks.
Clint S. Kruger, 37, was taken by the Missouri State Highway Patrol to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment and released. The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. May 24, 2018 at the 5.4 mile marker of the Big Niangua Arm in Camden County.
Kruger was arrested at 12:39 p.m. for boating while intoxicated with a juvenile in the vessel and failure to exercise the highest degree of care.
There were no reported injuries for anyone else in the vessel.
The MSHP preliminary incident report simply states that the 2004 22-foot Aqua Patio Tritoon was directed upstream when it struck the dock. Kruger’s injuries were described as moderate.
The vessel had extensive damage and was towed by Lake Tow.
