Dustin G. Dunklee, Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney, announced that in Morgan County Circuit Court action in April 2018 10 offenders were sentenced to terms of imprisonment in the Department of Corrections.

1. Michael J. Giffin – Sentenced to 7 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 7 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 4 years in DOC for the Class E Felony of domestic Assault 3rd Degree under RSMo 559.115 with preference for the 120 day Institutional Treatment Center program.

2. Natasha E. Wesley-Cooper - Sentenced to 4 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Stealing, 4 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and 4 years for a separate case where Welsey-Cooper was also charged with the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

3. Ryan J. Loper – Sentenced to 10 years in DOC for the Class B Felony of Burglary 1st Degree and 10 years in DOC for the Class B Felony of Assault 1st Degree under RSMo 559.115 with preference for the 120 day Institutional Treatment Center program.

4. Rhonda J. Bonnell - Sentenced to 4 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and a concurrent 4 years in DOC for an additional case where Bonnell was charged with the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

5. Dewayne O. Werdehausen – Sentenced to 6 years in DOC for the Class C Felony of Statutory Rape 2nd Degree and 6 years in DOC for the Unclassified Felony of Enticement of a Child. Both counts were ran consecutively for a total of 12 years in the Department of Corrections.

6. Trina A. Aragon – Sentenced to 7 years in DOC for the Class C Felony of Assault 2nd Degree under RSMo 559.115 with preference for the 120 day Institutional Treatment Center program.

7. Amber Carlisle – Sentenced to 7 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and 7 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

8. Daman L. Turner – Sentenced to 10 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Stealing under RSMo 559.115 with preference for the 120 day Institutional Treatment Center program.
9. Dylan M. Larish – Sentenced to 120 days in DOC for the Class B Felony of Burglary 1st Degree under RSMo 217.785, Phase II of the Post Conviction Drug Treatment Program.

10. Colby E. Vansell – Sentenced to 5 years in DOC for the Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and 4 years in DOC for the Class D Felony of Resisting Arrest under RSMo 559.115 with preference for the 120 day Institutional Treatment Center program.

These cases were prosecuted by Prosecuting Attorney Dustin G. Dunklee and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Douglas Kinde and Derik Kinde, through the efforts of Dunklee’s staff members and the professional investigations of all law enforcement agencies involved.
