Two women were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 52 Friday afternoon.
Tiara N. Tindell, 19, of Sedalia received injuries described as moderate in the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. She was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Medical Center in Sedalia for treatment. Jessica Byars, 20, of Fortuna also received moderate injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
The two women were in a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country that was totaled at 3:38 p.m. in Morgan County just west of Versailles on Highway 52. According to the crash report, the minivan, driven by Tindell was eastbound and struck an eastbound 2010 Ford Fusion that was stopped in traffic. The Fusion was pushed into the vehicle in front of it, also stopped, a 2014 Ford Fusion.
No one in the other vehicles had any reported injuries.
The driver of the 2010 Ford Fusion, the car immediately struck by the minivan, was James M. Oyler, 60, of Lee’s Summit. The car was described as totaled as well.
Brandy E. Conard, 41, of Versailles was the driver of the 2014 Ford Fusion. This car had damage described as minor.
