Paul M. Young, 96, of Lake Ozark, MO, entered eternal peace on January 3, 2018. He was born in Middlebrook, MO to Richard “Archie” Young and Zola “Elsie” Parton Young. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jewel, Maxine, Richard, and Joanne. He had multiple careers in his life: meat cutter, insurance agent, and home builder, to name just a few. Paul was an entrepreneurial and fun-loving man with a huge heart. He loved playing gin, being with family, and telling old time stories. He loved eating fried chicken at Bear Creek Restaurant, and barbecue at Baxter’s. He enjoyed country music, Elvis Presley, Western and action movies. His grandkids nicknamed him “the Silver Fox,” for his beautiful white hair. He was loved deeply and is greatly missed.
Paul is survived by his children Paul (wife, Kay), Dana (wife, Ann), Cindy, (husband Clyde, deceased), Jill (husband Peter), and Jan (husband Paul). He was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He and Vera Sakaitis enjoyed life together for almost 20 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Historic Willmore Lodge, Lake Ozark, on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 3:00 PM.
