Lake Regional Health System announces that on Monday, Nov. 13, the Emergency Department entrance will be temporarily moved. The revolving entrance will close. Temporary doors have been installed on each side and labeled Entrance C and Entrance D.
Entrance C provides access for Emergency Department and Family Birth Center patients. Family Birth Center visitors who are not patients should continue to use Entrance B at the front of the hospital. Entrance C also provides access for evening Sleep Lab patients registering for a sleep study.
Entrance D provides access to Diagnostic Imaging, Gift Shop and the Minor Procedure Center, which includes the Eye Center and Pain Management.
Signs outside and inside the hospital will help direct people based on their destinations. In addition, a detailed listing and map are available at www.lakeregional.com/construction.
These temporary changes are part of the hospital renovation project that began in August and includes three phases: Phase I, which began Aug. 21, includes renovations to the main lobby. Phase II, beginning Nov. 13, includes renovations to the Emergency Department lobby. Phase III is running concurrent with phases I and II and includes a complete remodel of Outpatient Services and construction of a new Family Birth Center to be located on the hospital’s third floor.
