Deputies with the Camden County Sheriff's Office followed up on leads in reference to Chad Hawk, missing from the Shady Slope Circle area on State Road KK since Thursday afternoon, with negative results thus far, according to multiple updates from the department through Friday night.

Deputies with the Camden County Sheriff's Office followed up on leads in reference to Chad Hawk, missing from the Shady Slope Circle area on State Road KK since Thursday afternoon, with negative results so far, according to multiple updates from the department through Friday night. 

Around 1:20 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, CCSO mobilized a search in the Osage Beach area and urged drivers to use caution through the area as searchers canvassed the scene, according to a Facebook post from the department. 

Later that night in another Facebook post, around 8:00 p.m., the department announced deputies had "followed on many leads (in) reference Chad Hawk with negative results. Once again, CCSO urged any citizens with information to contact your local law enforcement agency. 

On Thursday, CCSO issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at Shady Slope Circle Osage Beach at 2:17 p.m. Thursday, February 23.

The endangered missing person Chad M. Hawk, is a white, male, 43, height 5'-5", weight 190 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, fair complexion, wearing unknown.

Hawk walked away from a residence in an unknown direction and suffers from a seizure disorder and is diabetic. A K9 unit indicated he was possibly headed towards Osage Beach. Hawk is believed to have a .22 caliber pistol in his possession.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Camden County Sheriff’s Office at 573-346-2243.
