A Tuscumbia woman suffered fatal injuries in a one-vehicle crash in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A Tuscumbia woman suffered fatal injuries in a one-vehicle crash in the early hours of Wednesday morning, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. 

Rebecca J. Drum, 32, was driving eastbound in a 1998 Honda CRV on Route A, a mile east of Mt. Zion, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on December 7, 2016 when the crash occurred. 

According to the report, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. 

Drum, who was not wearing a safety device, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead by Miller County Coroner Rick Callahan at 7:55 a.m. at the scene. 

This is Troop F's fourth fatality for December and 73rd for the year.
