Osage Beach Public Works Department has begun its annual Leaf Pickup Program.

This year, the city is again using the option of biodegradable bags. Bagging leaves assures they won’t blow back into your yard before the trucks are able to get them picked up. Citizens may pick up bags free of charge from Public Works or City Hall or can purchase them at area home centers.

Place bags at the curb or the end of your drive, give us a call (573-302-2020), and we will pick them up. Only biodegradable bags will be taken. No other yard waste will be accepted.

Trucks will continue to vacuum leaves on city owned streets, weather permitting; however, the use of the biodegradable bags is highly encouraged.

The city asks residents to be patient as employees are picking up leaves for the entire community.
