Kory Leonard Terlaga, 59, of Piedmont, Mo., beloved husband of Lynn Terlaga, lost his life due to a motorcycle accident on Saturday, May 21. He was born in Hartford, CT on September 20, 1956, the son of Stanley and Jean (Pochran) Terlaga. Along with his wife Lynn of 28 years, he leaves his loving sons Christopher Terlaga and Michael Terlaga of Salt Lake City, UT; his parents Stanley and Jean Terlaga of South Windsor, CT; his sisters Maryanne Benoit and her husband TJ of South Windsor, CT and Kamila Drumm and her husband Donald of Billerica, MA; his brother Kelvin Terlaga and Eileen of Burlington, MA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kory held a bachelor's degree from University of NH and a Master’s Degree from UCONN. Kory was Director of Sales at AVImark in Piedmont MO
Kory was a devoted husband and father. Kory was also a nature enthusiast and loved to spend time with his boys enjoying the great outdoors and family outings. Be it mountain biking, hiking, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, fishing gardening or golf. To his boys he was their hero in every way, Kory was a great Dad, role model, a true leader with a gentle heart, always there to hear their stories, their latest adventures and of course give fatherly advice. Kory was a natural with children, because he had that childlike wonder himself and brought that same lively energy and passion to all he laid hand to.
He was strong in his faith as a Catholic, with a generous nature, always there to lend a hand. He was passionate about his family, his co-coworkers at AVImark and a strong figure in his community. The out poring of love and support from his community in Piedmont, MO is a true testament of love he gave and received. 
Kory will be forever missed by his loving family, countless friends, and co-workers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 27 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 673 Ellington Rd., South Windsor. Burial will be private at the request of his family.
