Two people were seriously injured in a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Miller County.
Two people were seriously injured in a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Miller County. Seth Pendleton, 22, of Williamsburg, Kan. was driving a 2002 Mercury on Tavern Creek Road with three passengers when he crossed the roadway and struck a 2003 Chevrolet driven by Vicky Martin, 49, of Iberia.
Pendleton and passenger Faith Sander, 19, of Crocker, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. Two other passengers in Pendleton's vehicle, Richard Baker, 22, of Iberia and Skylr Zeigenbein, 20, of Crocker sustained moderate and minor injuries respectively.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, no one in Pendleton's vehicle was wearing a seat belt. The report also noted the vehicle was traveling too quickly for road conditions.
Martin did not sustain injuries, and she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
