The Camdenton 8's youth baseball team won the bronze medal in Columbia at the Show-Me State Games, just their fourth week together as a team. Team scored 48 runs in four games during the event.

Experience as a team wasn't something the Camdenton 8's had much of when they recently participated in the Show-Me State Games in Columbia. Still, the youth baseball team rose to the occasion and earned third place in the intermediate division July 23-25.

The Camdenton 8's won two out of three games in pool play and earned the wild card spot by beating the Milan Rockets in extra innings on Saturday afternoon, July 24. The Scott City Cardinals knocked out Camdenton in the semifinal round.

All together, the 8's scored 48 runs in four games.
