Melissa Roe was crowned Mrs. Missouri United States 2010 recently at The Historic Missouri Theatre.
She wore the sash of Mrs. Kansas City and competed among 8 other contestants for the 2010 title.

In previous months Melissa also competed in the Mrs. Missouri pageant where she took the a 1st runner up title. Though the two pageants were held just a little over a month apart from one another, contestants were able to compete in both pageants.
The two pageants vary in terms of the national pageants that they feed into and their level of competiveness.
The similarities between the pageants are that all contestants must be married and be a true “Mrs”. Mrs. Missouri United States is run by Vanbros and Associates who also run the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants for Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Melissa is a proud resident of Kansas City, Mo., and works for U.S. Representative Sam Graves as his Deputy Chief of Staff.
Her strong fondness for politics coincides with her husband’s passion for the industry; Jeff Roe is a political consultant who owns Axiom Strategies and handles federal and state campaigns in more than 28 states. The two shares in each other’s hobbies and Jeff has been very supportive of Melissa’s hard work to win Mrs. Missouri Unites States on a state and national level.
Melissa will represent the state of Missouri in the national Mrs. Missouri United States pageants held in late July in Las Vegas. She is excited about the upcoming challenge and can’t wait to make her state proud in hopes to be the next Mrs. United States 2010.
