Brent is the son of Tom and Rita Merryman, of Kinderhook, Ill.
Rebecca Halie Bernet and Dale Robert Huffine were united in marriage on May 23, 2010, at Ashton Gardens in Houston, Texas. Officiating the double ring ceremony was pastor Dan Hauser of Crosspoint Community Church in Katy, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Philip Bernet III, of Katy, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Melvin Puls and the late Robert Herman Crowder of Columbus and Dr. and Mrs. Carl Philip Bernet Jr. of Greenwood.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Huffine, of Osage Beach, and the grandson of the late Frances Skaggs Bagley, of Riverside, Calif., the late Alward Forster Fenn, of Phoenix, Ariz., the late Emma Margaret Boe, of North Hollywood, Calif., and the late William Carlton Huffine, of Las Vegas, Nev.
