MOVE CLOCKS UP ONE HOUR:

Time to spring forward

Posted

If you find yourself tired in the mornings, you won’t likely get caught up on that sleep this weekend, as it’s time to “spring forward.”

Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 10, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 2. The time change actually occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday, and residents are reminded to set their clocks AHEAD one hour before going to sleep Saturday night.

The time change is also a good chance to check or replace smoke detector batteries.

To avoid confusion over the time changes, remember the saying “Spring forward and Fall back.”
