Best Cajun: Shorty Pants
When it comes to serving up the best Jambalaya, smothered catfish or crab cakes, Shorty Pants in Osage Beach has been hitting the mark for years.
Authentic creole cuisine on the water’s edge, the menu is straight out of New Orleans featuring rubs and spices from Louisiana. At the bar Cajun Bloody Marys and freshly-muddled mojitos are a customer favorite.
There’s always a great lineup of bands and entertainment throughout the summer, and a marina and full C-Store has everything you need for a day out on the Lake.
The restaurant is open daily at 11 a.m. in the summer.

• The Best of the Lake is an online poll published in January-March each year. Readers vote for their favorite Lake of the Ozarks businesses, and the results are published in the May/June issue of Lake Lifestyles magazine.
