A summer camp in Rocky Mount is temporarily shutting down after two cases of H1-N1 virus, commonly referred to as the swine flu, were confirmed.

A third person is believed to have been tested for the virus after turning up with flu-like symptoms while at Camp Sabra.

The camp expects to reopen at the end of the month.

As many as 250 campers may have been at the facility when the flu-like illness was first reported.
County and state health representatives were at the camp on Sunday.

As many as 50 campers were reportedly ill. Campers are being sent home.

Camp Sabra is located off Route Y in Morgan County, on the Gravois arm of the lake, about 12.5 miles from Eldon.
