Joni Purvis shot a second-round 77 to move up from 11th to 2nd place on Tuesday.
She finished in a three-way tie for second behind Lee's Summit North's McCall Christopher.
The place earns Purvis all-state honors for the second year in a row. Last year she finished 8th as a sophomore.
Sophomore Cassie Kennedy finished in a tie for 40th and freshman Mackenzie Griffin finished in a tie for 78th.
