The Springfield Juniors, an all-star traveling volleyball team from Missouri, including players from Camdenton, Lebanon, Nixa, Reed Springs, Ozark, Glendale and Ash Grove, will compete in the National Tournament next week in Miami, Fla.
The team placed third at the Junior Regional Championships April 18-19 in Leavenworth, Kan., at the University of St. Mary.
The finish at Leavenworth qualified them for a bid to nationals.
The National Tournament in Miami will be from July 1-4.
Springfield Juniors is part of the Heart of America Region, a division in which they are ranked No. 5.
The team also took first place at the Gold Heart Challenge Cup in March in Riverside, Mo.
The team is coached by Southwest Baptist University volleyball coach Kelly Richardson.
The team includes recent Camdenton graduate Bailey Lupardus, a first team All-Conference and All-District selection, and second team All-State selection last season.
Lupardus will play next season at Graceland University in Iowa on a volleyball scholarship.
Every girl on the Springfield Juniors team has been recruited to play volleyball at the collegiate level.
