On a roll: Lady Lakers win seventh straight

Led by Ashleigh Paschel's hat trick, the Camdenton High School girls' soccer team stayed hot and won easily 10-0 over Springfield Central on Wednesday.

Paschel scored her first goal minutes into the match and added two more before halftime. Camdenton led 9-0 after one half and ended the match on the mercy rule just minutes into the second half.

Paschel, Haley Baker, Jessica Smith, Miriam Taylor, Kali Kuse, Chelsey VanHook and Chelsi Libby all scored for Camdenton. Baker scored twice.

Since losing 1-0 at Rolla on April 22, the Lady Lakers are 10-1 and have won seven straight matches.

Camdenton faces Rolla in a rematch this Monday in the Class 3 District 10 tournament in Jefferson City.
