The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22 and 38-mile marks; the Upper Osage is between the 38 and the Rt. 65 Bridge.

CRAPPIE

Bagnell Dam spillway: Fair on jigs. Lower Osage: Good shooting jigs under main lake docks. Gravois: Fair on jigs 15 feet deep in brush and around main lake docks. Mid-Lake: Good on jigs around main lake docks and brush piles 15 feet deep. Grand Glaize: Good on jigs in brush piles 2 to 5 feet deep over a depth of 15 feet. Niangua: Fair on minnows and jigs in brush piles 8 to 12 feet deep. Upper Osage: Good on minnows 6 to 8 feet deep around docks.

CATFISH

Gravois: Slow drifting cut shad in middle of creek coves. Mid-Lake: Fair drifting cut shad in the coves. Grand Glaize: Fair on cut shad in coves. Upper Osage: Good on worms and minnows.

BLUEGILL

Poor around docks or submerged brush, try mealworms, nightcrawler pieces, or Berkley Gulp Earthworm pieces.

BLACK BASS

No tournament reports available. Bagnell Dam spillway: Fair on crankbaits. Lower Osage: Fair to good on Whopper Ploppers, buzz baits and spinnerbaits on main and secondary points and rocky banks. Gravois: Good on Zara Spooks and spinnerbaits halfway back in coves. Mid-Lake: Good on spinnerbaits, Wiggle Warts, buzz baits and Whopper Ploppers along main lake points. Grand Glaize: Fair on Berkley Choppos along windy rock banks. Niangua: Fair on plastic grubs and Senkos along rocky banks. Upper Osage: Fair on jigs around corners of docks.

WHITE AND HYBRID BASS

Lower Osage: Good on Mepps spinners along windy points. Gravois: Good on Roostertails along wind-blown rocky points. Mid-Lake: Good on Chug Bugs or Roostertails in the back of creeks. Grand Glaize: Good on inline spinners and small crankbaits in coves filled with shad. Niangua: Fair to good on inline spinners on windy points. Upper Osage: Excellent on Rat-L-Traps, Roostertails and spoons along windy points.
