The Lower Osage is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is between the 22- and 38-mile mark, the Upper Osage is between the 38-mile mark and the Route 65 Bridge.

Good on nightcrawler pieces around docks.

CRAPPIE

Lower Osage: Slow on minnow around docks. Grand Glaize: Good on tube jigs in brush piles 10 feet deep. Gravois: Good on minnows in brush 7 feet deep. Mid-Lake: Good on minnows or jigs around main lake docks and brush piles 15 feet deep. Niangua: Slow on minnows in brush piles 18 feet deep. Upper Osage: Fair on jigs or minnows in brush 6 to 8 feet deep.

CATFISH

Bagnell Dam spillway: Fair on cut shad. Grand Glaize: Fair drifting cut shad. Gravois: Good drifting cut shad in middle of creek coves. Mid-Lake: Good drifting cut shad in creek coves. Niangua: Fair on jug lines with cut shad. Upper Osage: Good drifting cut shad and goldfish along main lake flats.

BLACK BASS

Oliver Ngy won the 2019 Fall Big Bass Bash last weekend with a 6.82-pound largemouth bass. Bagnell Dam spillway: Fair on jigs, swimbaits and topwater lures. Lower Osage: Good on Whopper Ploppers, Brush Hogs and plastic worms around docks on secondary points and backs of coves. Grand Glaize: Good on shaky head worms around docks. Gravois: Fair on 10-inch Berkley Power Worms and jigs around docks in coves. Mid-Lake: Fair on buzz baits, Whopper Ploppers, jigs and Brush Hogs around docks and brush 8 to 10 feet deep. Niangua: Slow on spinnerbaits, jigs and squarebill crankbaits 6 feet deep. Upper Osage: Good on jigs around shallow docks in coves.

WHITE AND HYBRID BASS

Lower Osage: Good on small topwaters and spinners when the fish are busting shad on the surface. Grand Glaize: Fair on inline spinners and small crankbaits along windy points. Gravois: Good on white Roostertails on wind-blown rocky points. Mid-Lake: Fair on Roostertails and Chug Bugs in creeks. Niangua: Fair on inline spinners and crankbaits when the fish are surfacing on the main lake. Upper Osage: Fair on poppers with jig trailers along main lake points.
