Every point was crucial when Camdenton and Jefferson City got together on the volleyball court Tuesday night.

In a match where no set was decided by more than six points, the Lakers and Jays went the distance and the visitors found a way to pick up the win as they beat Camdenton 25-19 in set one, dropped the second 25-20 and won the finale 25-22.

Natalie Basham recorded 14 kills to lead the Lakers while Sydney Smith added eight and both Lauryn Hulett and Megan Vest contributed six. Smith added two service aces and a team-leading 21 assists while Lizzie Miller finished the night with 11 assists respectively.

On the defensive end, Hulett put up two blocks and Shelby Kurtz finished with 16 digs while Basham added 13 digs of her own.

Camdenton (9-9, 1-2 Ozark Conference) visits Hillcrest on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
