Versailles outlasts Hallsville
It took all three sets but Versailles found a way to take down visiting Hallsville Tuesday night.
The Tigers dropped the first game in the Tri-County Conference battle 25-16, but bounced back in the final two games by beating the Indians 25-17 both times.
Kellan Boehm paced the Tiger attack with five kills and also led the team with 10 assists. Meanwhile, Taralee Edgar and Kylie Viebrock added three aces each in the effort. On the defensive end, Edgar recorded six digs and Carrie Hoffa showed some presence at the net with two blocks.
Versailles (3-2, 1-1 Tri-County Conference) will host Russellville on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Osage falls at Waynesville
School of the Osage visited Waynesville Tuesday night and came home with a loss in two sets to the Tigers. Osage (3-4, 1-1 Tri-County Conference) will host Eugene on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Eldon downed by Blair Oaks
Eldon was on the road for a Tri-County Conference battle at Blair Oaks and the host Falcons did not make it a pleasant trip after taking down the Mustangs in two sets by final scores of 25-19 and 25-5. Eldon (6-4, 0-2 Tri-County Conference) will visit conference newcomer Boonville on Monday at 6 p.m.
