Osage had the privilege of playing on its home courts for the first time this season and the Indians defended home turf with an 8-1 win over Sedalia Smith-Cotton.

In singles play, Eliza Koeppen was a 9-7 winner along with Elise Davis (8-4), Natalie Brick (8-0), Lily Davis (8-2) and Zoie Turner (8-2).

Meanwhile, the doubles team of Koeppen and Davis claimed an 8-5 victory while Kylie Misenheimer and Brick won 8-4 and Davis and Turner swept their opponents 8-0.

Osage (1-0) was scheduled to host Richland on Tuesday before taking a trip to Boonville on Thursday at 4 p.m.
