School of the Osage was in action at the Lebanon Tournament over the weekend where the Indians finished 1-1-1 after falling to West Plains 5-0, earning a scoreless draw against Sullivan and topping Dixon 10-2.

Osage had six shots on goal in the first contest against West Plains, but were unable to find the back of the net and after the draw against Sullivan, the Indians were hungry to find the back of the net.

Zach Deibel and Garrett Long led the way against Dixon with two goals each while Long set up his teammates with three assists. Layton Jennings, Alec Hebblethwaite and Josh Cooper all scored a goal and recorded an assist each while Anthony Alberti, Ethan Ford and Robert Colonius also beat the keeper with their own goals.

“We have several field players that elevate our play. Player passing and movement off the ball will be a big key to our success,” Osage coach Jason Long said.

The coach also commended the defensive efforts of Tristan Satterlee, Colonius, Collin Chilton, Ross Brady and Tony Floyd while Parker Jett recorded 24 total saves to go with one clean sheet.

“Jett’s confidence with his hands and improvement in diving can have a big impact on the season,” Long noted.

Osage was scheduled to visit Belle on Monday and the Indians will host Southern Boone on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
