It was the final game of the regular season and Eldon decided to play some extra baseball when the Mustangs hosted Iberia Thursday night.

Unfortunately for the hosts, the Rangers found a way to push three runs across in the 10th to secure a 5-3 win.

Drew Rodriguez paced the Eldon offense with three hits while he and Dawson Brandt took the mound and recorded eight combined strikeouts.

Eldon (5-13, 4-3 Tri-County Conference) will look to bounce back in postseason play when the Mustangs face Buffalo in the first round of districts at Marshfield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
