Camdenton got back on track.
After the Lakers falling to Kickapoo 5-1 in an Ozark Conference battle on Tuesday, the team bounced back with a 2-1 win at Joplin on Thursday.
Brooklyn Stidham recorded both goals for Camdenton to give the Lakers the edge.
“It was very windy, but the girls played well and had tenacity,” Camdenton coach Chris Byington said. “There were a few girls that had to step up in some spots since we were missing some of our other girls, which was good to see. It was a good bounce back from Kickapoo.”
With the win, Camdenton improves to 10-7-1 and 6-2 in the Ozark Conference. The Lakers will host Glendale in the conference finale on Saturday at 5 p.m.
