Osage wins tri-meet with Eldon and Lincoln

School of the Osage was back on its home course at Osage National on Monday afternoon and the Indians defended the home greens with a first place team score of 152 while Eldon finished second at 182 and Lincoln third at 218.

Osage’s Ethan Kline was match medalist with a round of 33, Jacob Krantz finished second with a 36, Zach Krantz put up a 42, Nick Riley 45 and Chance Foster 46.

Eldon was led by Aiden Wells who shot a 41 to take third while Austin Kostelnik added a 42, Breckon Blankenship 46, Nick Willingham 53 and Cole Kliethermes 59.

Both teams will be at Eagle Knoll in Hartsville on Wednesday for the Tri-County Conference Tournament.

Versailles takes 6th at Stover Tournament

Versailles was in tournament action on its home course for the Stover Invitational on Thursday and the Tigers finished sixth out of seven teams. Versailles put up a team score of 400 while Stover claimed first place at 353.

Versailles’ Ori Bartlett was runner-up medalist, finishing second with a round of 85. Garrett Boatright shot a 91 for seventh place, Joel Faron recorded a 108, Kyle Bartlett added a 116 and Tristan Mayhew finished the day at 123.

Up next is the Tri-County Conference Tournament at Eagle Knoll in Hartsburg on Wednesday.
