Osage wins tri-meet over Camdenton and Bolivar; Eldon wins home quad

Eldon takes 1st in home quad

The Eldon boys’ golf team had another good night on Tuesday as the Mustangs toppled Eugene, Iberia and Sacred Heart on their home course at Eldon Golf Club.

Aiden Wells led the Mustangs with a 9-hole round of 38 and earned the title of match medalist as well with the best score of the night. Austin Kostelnik shot a 42, Cole Kliethermes recorded a 45, Nick Willingham posted a round of 50 and Breckon Blankenship rounded out the scoring with a round of 55.

The Mustangs were in action at Eugene on Wednesday and will return to the course on Monday for the Sacred Heart Invitational.

Osage tops Camdenton and Bolivar

It was a successful night for Osage on Tuesday as the Indians traveled to Old Kinderhook to face Camdenton and Bolivar and bested both opponents on the course.

The Indians posted a team score of 178 to finish first while the Lakers recorded a score of 207 and Bolivar posted a 215.

Osage’s Ethan Kline posted the low round of the night and earned the title of match medalist with a 9-hole score of 38.

Camdenton scores were not available at the time of press.

Camdenton was back in action on Wednesday for the Laker Invitational and will visit Helias on Monday at 9 a.m. Osage will host California and Fulton for Senior Night on Thursday at 4 p.m.
