All-Star games to be played on Sunday, April 8 at Lebanon and Eldon High Schools

The basketball season is not quite over just yet.

Local players and coaches, representing Camdenton and School of the Osage, were recently selected to participate in a pair of local All-Star games featuring some of the area’s top players.

CAMDENTON

The fourth-annual SWMOBasketball.com All-Star game will be held on Sunday April 8 in Boswell Auditorium at Lebanon High School.

The contest will feature all-star boys’ and girls’ teams from across southwest Missouri.

Camdenton girls’ basketball coach Staci Caffey will coach the Ozark Conference team, including her own pair of seniors in Abbie Miller and Coley Rezabek for a game with the Central Ozark Conference.

Competition will begin at 2 p.m. with the East and West girls playing first, followed by the Ozark Conference and Central Ozark Conference girls at 3:30 p.m.

The 3-point and slam dunk contests will be held at 5 p.m., followed by the East and West boys’ all-stars. The Ozark Conference and Central Ozark Conference boys will play the finale at 7 p.m.

Admission is $8 at the gate and is good for all four games as well as the dunk and 3-point contests.

OSAGE

Missouri RoundBall Magazine and Team Carroll Premier will feature senior girls and boys’ all-star games at Eldon High School on Sunday, April 8 at 2 p.m.

Players across mid-Missouri were selected for Team RoundBall and Team Carroll Premier, and the event will also feature a 3-point contest and a dunk competition.

School of the Osage senior Keyton Knamiller will represent Team Carroll Premier in the boys’ game. Meanwhile, girls’ basketball coach Scott Rowland will coach Team RoundBall in the girls’ game including his own seniors in Kenzie King and Rose Colonius.

Admission for this event is $8 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.
