Versailles was on the road Wednesday night and it was a tough trip for the Tigers as they fell 81-55 at Hallsville in Tri-County Conference action.

Versailles actually held a slim 19-18 after the first quarter, but were outscored in each of the following quarters. The Tigers trailed 36-32 at halftime and 55-45 after the third, but the Indians closed out the game on a 26-10 run to create the final margin.

Coby Williams led the Tigers with 27 points while Wyatt Espinosa finished with 13 and Ayrton Gennetten contributed six along with Sha Leach.

Versailles (10-11, 1-4 Tri-County Conference) will visit Buffalo Friday night for the next battle at 6 p.m.
