Camdenton bested Bolivar and Buffalo for a sweep on the mats Tuesday night in tri-dual action.
The Lakers toppled Bolivar 41 to 30 and put the Bison of Buffalo away by a final score of 51 to 27.
Grant Garett got Camdenton off to a good start in the 106-pound class against Bolivar as he earned an 8-0 major decision. Meanwhile, Colton Libby (120), Blake Lapine (170), and Marcus Stephens (285) all picked up wins via the pin. Ryan Rothove (132) also won by major decision with an 11-2 victory, Gabe Blain (145) won a 7-4 decision and both Dane Lapine (138) and Reese Esqueda (195) won their matches via the forfeit.
In the second bout of the evening, Garrett (106) stayed unbeaten with a forfeit while Abbey Cordia (126), Ryan Rothove (132) and Jesus Ramirez (152) also picked up forfeit victories. Jacob Fuglsang (113) earned a pin along with Libby (120), Lapine (160) and Esqueda (195). Last but not least, Stephens (285) also stayed perfect on the night with a 6-3 decision.
Camdenton will return to the mats on Friday, December 29 for the two-day Springdale Tournament which will also be in action that Saturday.
