Macks Creek falls short in contest at Crocker

It was a tough night on the floor for Macks Creek as the Pirates fell 52-28 at Crocker.

After a 49-39 win over Humansville the night before where Macks Creek had multiple contributors, the Pirates were missing a couple of players who have made their presence known on the floor.

"With the temporary loss of Shelby Willis to a knee injury and Jesse Willis spraining her ankle in last night's contest, our offense was missing our two leading scorers," Macks Creek coach Deidre Meade said. "We have a break until the 28th (December), so we are going to hopefully heal up and get ready for the second half of our season."

Mylee Hicks led Macks Creek with 10 points and Caytlin Eidson added eight points for the Pirates.

Macks Creek (4-4) will face Montrose at the W-K Shootout in Sedalia on December 28 at State Fair Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
