Mr. Jim “Pappy” Pirch will be receiving the Right Hand Man Assistant Coach award in honor of Coach Doug Potts this Friday December 1, 2017 during the Missouri Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame banquet at Tan-Tar-a.

This is the inaugural presentation of this award. This award is presented to Long-time assistant coaches who have shown a commitment to community, profession, association and student athletes.

This year's recipients will be: CHARLES “CHUCK” RAMSEY: (Monett – Parkview – Kickapoo (46 years), BOB SINK: (Ste. Gen. – Jackson – Cape Central (49 years),and JIM “PAPPY” PIRCH: (Camdenton (35 years)

The term 'Pappy's Hogs' will forever be a sentiment for our beloved Lakers. Pappy's Hogs helped bring the Lakers five state championships with his offensive and defensive line play.
