Camdenton sweeps Parkview

Camdenton wasted no time securing an Ozark Conference win at Parkview Tuesday night. The Lakers swept the Vikings in two sets by final scores of 25-23 and 25-15.

Senior Natalie Basham paced the Camdenton offense with seven kills while fellow seniors Madison VanderPloeg and Abbie Miller put up five and four respectively. Miller also put up 10 assists to keep the Lakers on the offensive.

On the defensive end, sophomore Megan Vest was a force at the top of the net with three blocks and senior Kylie Meier also made her presence known with two blocks of her own. Senior Grace Wormek kept Parkview behind as well with a team-high 13 digs while Miller added 11 and VanderPloeg put up five.

Camdenton improves to 10-17-3 with the win and up next is another conference showdown with Rolla coming to town Thursday night at 4:30 p.m.

Eldon downs Dixon in two-set sweep

It was Senior Night at Eldon on Tuesday night and the Mustangs made sure it was a good one for the senior class as they swept Dixon in two sets by final scores of 25-7 and 25-5.

Eldon’s Grace Baucom put points on the board quickly and often with 13 aces while Dakota Graham smacked down nine kills and Addie Davis put away six kills of her own. Meanwhile, Leah Stichler fueled the Mustangs with 17 assists.

Defensively, Stichler finished the night with a team-leading three digs while Baucom and Bailey Farris both added two.

Eldon (21-7-3) will visit Hallsville Thursday night for the regular season finale at 5:30 p.m.
