The Lakers visited rival Lebanon for an Ozark conference battle Thursday night and came away with a 2-1 win in double overtime. With 28.7 seconds left in the game, a corner kick from Josh Gerdiman was placed on goal by Wyatt Stamper and Ian Kirby-Gibson knocked in the rebound.
Camdenton’s Chris Morgan put the Lakers on the board early and keeper Nolan Moriearty made a few big-time saves to keep his team in it including saves on penalty kicks late in the second half and overtime.
Camdenton (6-12, 2-4 Ozark Conference) was scheduled to host Parkview Tuesday night and the Lakers will visit West Plains on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
