Camdenton took a trip down to Hickory Hills Middle School in Springfield Tuesday night where the Lakers took on nine other schools in a series of duals.

Camdenton finished 3-6 on the night with wins over Lamar, Marshfield and Greenwood and losses to Hillcrest, Lebanon, Monett, Ozark, Webb City and West Plains.

The night began with the 200 Medley Relay where the team of Jeremy Bernabe, Bryce Leuenberger, Michael Radlund and Josef Bernabe finished second with a time of 2:02.84. In the other relay of the night, the team of Blake Lapine, Addison Stanley, Dane Lapine and Radlund finished fifth in the 200 Free with a time of 1:54.66.

The 50 Free consisted of four Laker swimmers and Josef was the fastest among them taking third with a time of 24.28 seconds. Blake took sixth at 25.91 seconds, Jeremy earned 10th at 27.17 seconds and Dane wrapped things up at 28.95 seconds respectively.

Dane was the lone swimmer to represent Camdenton in the 100 Butterfly where he took ninth at 1:22.55.

The 100 Freestyle featured three Lakers and Blake took the top time with a sixth place finish at 59.21 seconds. Leuenberger finished 13th at 1:05.35 and Stanley came in 18th at 1:11.28.

The 100 Backstroke featured three Lakers once again and Josef was the fastest among them earning second at 1:03.03. Radlund took fourth at 1:07.22 and Leuenberger came away with a 12th place finish at 1:21.57.

Last but not least, the 100 Breaststroke saw two Lakers dive in and Jeremy earned ninth at 1:23.44 while Stanley took 11th at 1:26.20.

The Lakers will visit Seymour on October 5 at 4:30 p.m.
