The Macks Creek Lady Pirates traveled to Weaubleau on Monday night to take on the Lady Tigers and left with a 12-5 defeat.

The night started out well for the Lady Pirates as they led 3-0 after the first inning. However, the Lady Tigers stormed back and did all of their damage scoring 12 runs over the next four innings. 

Bethany Schmidt suffered the loss for the Lady Pirates in the circle. She worked the first four innings allowed seven runs, five earned, on six hits while striking out three and walking three. She falls to 3-5.  Shaylee Skinner relieved and worked the final two innings. She was touched for five runs, three earned, on four hits and walked one.

Offensively, Macks Creek was paced by Lexi Mayer's three-for-four day. She collected three RBIs on two doubles and a single. Kali Eidson singled, doubled, and scored twice, Madeline Phillips singled and scored, Mylee Hicks singled, walked, and scored two runs, Jesse Willis singled in a run, and Myra Cortez singled. Shelby Willis walked and reached on an error while Kenzie Hicks was hit-by-a-pitch.

Macks Creek falls to 6-13 while Weaubleau improves to 17-3. Macks Creek is back in action against Halfway on Tuesday (today) before hosting Humansville on Thursday at 5 p.m.
