The district tournament is just around the corner for School of the Osage and the Indians got an opportunity to become more familiar with the district course at the 18-hole Strafford Tournament on Tuesday.

Only three players were available for Tuesday’s action so Osage did not post a team score, but nonetheless the day was still fairly productive.

Destiny Drake paced the Indians with a round of 106, Sydney Riley shot a 109 and Greta Cooks finished her day at 126.

“Destiny and Sydney both had their best 18-hole scores yet so overall it was a great day for us,” Osage coach L.J. Weeks said.

Osage was scheduled to host its regular season finale on Thursday and up next is the Class 1 District 3 Tournament at Marshfield Country Club on Monday. Should any Indians advance, they will take their swings at the sectional tournament with the hopes of earning a spot at state.
