Camdenton swimmers were back in action Thursday night at Foster Natatorium in Springfield where the Lakers took on Kickapoo in Ozark Conference action.
It was a solid day for the team as they came away with some notable results.
Freshman Dane Lapine got the day started for Camdenton with an eighth place finish in the 200 Freestyle at a time of 2:37.
A total of four Lakers hit the pool for the 50 Freestyle and junior Josef Bernabe was the fastest among them as he took third with a time of 23.6 seconds. Senior Blake Lapine earned seventh at 27.45 seconds, sophomore Bryce Leuenberger finished eighth at 28.79 seconds and sophomore Addison Stanley rounded things up in 15th with a time of 31.88 seconds.
The 100 Fly featured three Camdenton swimmers sophomore Michael Radlund finished second at 1:05, sophomore Jeremy Bernabe took fifth at 1:17 and Dane earned sixth at 1:19.
Blake led the charge in the 100 Freestyle with an eighth place time of 1:03 and Leuenberger took 10th at 1:08. Josef represented Camdenton in the 100 Backstroke and took second with a time of 1:06.
Last but not least, the final event consisted of three Lakers in the 100 Breaststroke and Radlund had the top time finishing second at 1:22. Stanley took fifth at 1:27 and Jeremy earned seventh at 1:32.
Camdenton was scheduled to be back in Springfield Tuesday night and will return to Springfield on September 26 to take on Springfieldd Central at 4:30 p.m.
