Camdenton’s Wilson wins second straight tournament
Another tournament and another first place finish for Camdenton senior Amber Wilson.
The Lakers visited Jefferson City on Wednesday for the Helias Invitational and the team finished sixth in the 20-team tournament with a team score of 382. Wilson earned match medalist for the second straight tournament with a 3-over-par at 75 while fellow senior Jennah Schell also brought home a medal taking sixth with a score of 82. Senior Coley Rezabek finished with a score of 102, junior Emily Hunter finished the day at 123 and sophomore Allie Crowell put up a round of 127.
“I was pleased to have Amber once again place as the medalist of the tournament and for Jennah to also earn a medal,” Camdenton coach Jane Eidson stated. “As we play matches and tournaments, we continue to improve our scores.”
The Lakers were scheduled to visit Osage Thursday night and will visit Rolla on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
